Choir News

Last updated 16th of August 2016.

On Friday the 1st of July, about half our choir ( together with wives / partners ) travelled by coach to Carmarthenshire in South Wales for a social weekend, during which the choir members shared the stage for a joint concert with the local Burry Port Male Choir on the Saturday evening in the Jerusalem Chapel on Gwscwm Road, Burry Port. On our first evening in the hotel, Ken Marks ( who used to sing with us and now sings with Burry Port ) performed a welcome poem that he had composed. You can see it at the bottom of the Bits & Pieces page.

Our next concert is on Friday the 16th of September, in Irchester Village Hall, 36 School Road, Irchester, NN29 7AW at 7.30 pm to help raise funds for Parkinson's UK Wellingborough Branch. Please look out for posters locally saying where you can buy tickets for it.

A week later, on Saturday the 24th of September, the Burry Port Male Choir come to Corby to sing with us in the Corby Technical School, Cottingham Road, NN17 1TD to help raise funds for our choir and to continue our 40th Anniversary celebrations. Please note that this concert will start at 7.00 pm. Please look out for posters locally saying where you can buy tickets for it.

Our engagements page shows our 2016 list of concerts.

If you wish to give us feedback about any of our performances, please send an e-mail to the Choir Secretary - see the officers page for contact details.

Welcome

Welcome to the web-site of The Corby Male Voice Choir.

We hope that you can find here useful information about us.

Our choir enjoys singing and, by doing so, helps charitable organisations raise money for their cause. Details of our next concert are shown in the "Choir News" panel on the right.

If a concert like this would help you, please get in touch with our Choir Secretary or our Concert Secretary to check our availability – see their contact details on the officers page.

As you can see from our engagements page we are almost fully committed for 2016 but we would welcome invitations to sing for you in 2017.

On the other hand, if you would like to sing with us, please see the information on the join us page.
